Stepan Avagyan Memorial "Jermuk-2024" International Chess Tournament

The Chess Academy of Armenia together with “Jermuk Ashkharh Health Centre” is organizing an International Chess Tournament: Stepan Avagyan Memorial from 9-18 of June, 2024 in Jermuk, Armenia. The tournament is held in a 10-player GM norm round-robin format, in 9 rounds and is a FIDE category 17 event.

Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game (with 30 seconds increment starting from move one).

The total prize fund is 7 450 000 AMD (≈ 18 400 USD).

1st  place – 3 100 000

2nd place – 1 850 000

3rd place – 1 500 000

4th place – 1 000 000
